Who joins a Jam?
Jamming is open to everyone. It is a time for learning, co-creating, and meeting new people.
What is a Jam?
A jam is an event that involves learning and creating. It is kind of like a jam session that musicians would have where they come together informally to create new music and practice different skills.
How long is the BC Edujam?
The BC EduJam will start on Thursday late afternoon and finish on Saturday afternoon. A more specific timetable will be distributed closer to the event.
Is the bc edujam considered professional development?
Yes, the skills, methods, and mindset that you will learn during these roughly 16 contact hours most definitely count as professional development.
What does my registration include?
You will get:
- access to the event
- lunches on Friday and Saturday

DO I need to show up to each day?
Yes, this event is team based and your team will be relying on your participation to help co-create your vision. Showing up each day is essential for your own learning as well as everyone else's.
What do I need to bring?
You only need to bring yourself and an open mind. Everything else will be provided for you there. You will have access to the trainings, an expert to ask questions to, tools for prototyping, and endless enthusiasm!
How are teams formeD?
Teams will be formed on the Thursday of the event and are formed around ideas. Ideas will be formed around a secret theme that will be presented on Thursday. So this means that you should not come expecting to be in a specific team or have an idea of what you would be working on. Just come as you are!
